D'Angelo était en tournée avec son groupe, les Soultronics, durant l'année 2000, qui suivit la sortie de l'album Voodoo.

Tournée qui marqua les esprits, celle-ci compte parmi ses perles ce concert d'anthologie au Brésil à Sao Paulo, d'une heure 50.

On a un D'Angelo au top de sa forme, alors âgé que d'une vingtaine d'année, avec des choristes qui ont l'air possédés et envoûtés par le sort funky et soulful de la musique, et une bande de musiciens virtuoses, qui a pu compter sur une section cuivre plus que présente.
